Thank you in advance for your support! Questions about the Community Club or didn’t receive a newsletter in your mailbox? Please contact Heather Stafford at staffordlkesire@gmail.com.

4. Lake Desire Easter Egg Hunt – Sat. 3/30/13 – 1pm. Bring your kiddos to our small but fun Easter Egg Hunt. After having been to many very, very large hunts over the years with our kids, it’s really neat to have such a sweet place around the grounds of the Clubhouse to search for eggs. Bring a healthy snack to share, the candy filled eggs are provided by the LDCC. Want to help? We are looking for a volunteer to dress as the Easter Bunny (we have the costume) for pictures, and can always use help hiding eggs.

5. Lake Desire Community Center cleanup day – Sat. 4/20/13 – 9am Please join us on Saturday, April 20th, 2013 for some pre-Earth Day volunteer fun. We will be doing our spring cleaning of the grounds at the Community Center and also sprucing up the inside. We could definitely use the help, so come on out! Please reply to this email with any questions about how you can help.

6. Plant and Seed Swap – Sat. 5/11/13 – Gardeners, mark your calendars for our 2nd annual Plant and Seed Swap at the Community Club on Saturday, May 11th at 10am. Bring your extra seedlings, plants and seeds to share with your neighbors and come see what everyone else has to share. This was a big hit last year, looking forward to it again this year!

3. Lake Desire Area Tree Planting a success! Thanks to the Smith and Walker families who joined the Boy Scouts on a very well organized, successful day of tree planting. These folks helped King County replant trees near the Christian School Road. The trees will replace those non-native trees recently cut down in the area. Thank you!
